It's Your Voice
Alamedans have a voice in the policies and operations of Alameda Power &
Telecom through the City's Public Utilities Board.
In accordance with the City Charter, four commissioners are appointed by the
Mayor with the concurrence of the City Council. The Alameda City Manager is the fifth
member of the Board. The commissioners establish goals and set direction for Alameda Power
& Telecom, approve major purchases, and create the framework for local control.
Citizens of Alameda and other interested parties are encouraged to attend all meetings. Regular board meetings are usually held at 7:00 PM the third Monday of each
month at City Hall Council Chambers, 2263 Santa Clara Ave.
